The Seventh Belgrade Secondary School

The Sevent Belgrade Secondary School was founded for the first time in 1953 by joining the Third Female School and the Sixth Male School. However, five years later it closed down only to form the Sixth Belgrade Secondary School by joining with the Ninth Secondary School.

The Seventh Belgrade Secondary School was founded for the second time in 1987 upon which it was closed again. The school was opened for a third time in 2002 and has been seated in Mirijevo ever since. The Seventh Belgrade Secondary School has around 750 students today who attend either the natural sciences department or the humanities department.

Contemporary in any sense of the word, our school offers functional knowledge and quality preparation for tertiary education in Serbia and abroad. Implementing modern and creative teaching in the classroom, where the teachers’ pedagogy and students’ performance are aligned with the highest academic standards for the high-school finals, our school develops linguistic, mathematical, scientific, artistic, cultural, technical and ICT competence, which is a prerequisite for further education and professional development. Teaching is supported by the interactive whiteboards and educational software, whereas practice exercises research and critical thinking.
