The Radnički Wrestling Club

As a sport, wrestling began in Serbia in 1922 at Radnički. Back then however, it was more of a skill practiced by individuals rather than an organised sport.

The members of the Radnički club have taken part in the Olympic games multiple times as well as in the European and World Championships where they have won a number of awards in individual and team state competitions. Hard work and dedication have made the Radnički Wrestling Club one of the best wrestling clubs in the region. Savremena International School has initiated the partnership with the club to promote the sport among its students who have not had the chance to try their hand at wrestling.

Contemporary in any sense of the word, our school offers functional knowledge and quality preparation for tertiary education in Serbia and abroad. Implementing modern and creative teaching in the classroom, where the teachers’ pedagogy and students’ performance are aligned with the highest academic standards for the high-school finals, our school develops linguistic, mathematical, scientific, artistic, cultural, technical and ICT competence, which is a prerequisite for further education and professional development. Teaching is supported by the interactive whiteboards and educational software, whereas practice exercises research and critical thinking.
