On 21 June, the students of International School Savremena helped the organisation of an official reception at the White Palace. Each year, the reception is given in honour of the best secondary school students from Serbia and Republika Srpska.

International School Savremena’s Student of the Class, Marija Matejić, was unfortunately unable to attend the official award ceremony. Savremena takes pride in the remarkable accomplishment Marija achieved through hard work and dedication. 

 

 

 

A reception which gathers the best students year after year

For the 18th consecutive year, HRH Crown Prince Alexander Karađorđević and HRH Crown Princess Katherine hosted a reception at the White Palace in Dedinje, given under the auspices of HRH Crown Prince Alexander’s Foundation for Education and Culture in honour of the best secondary school graduates.

More than six hundred of the best final-year students of secondary schools in Serbia and Republika Srpska attended the award ceremony during which they received certificates of excellence for their remarkable results.

Student Milica Pančić receives a referral from the Royal Voluntary Service

International School Savremena’s students volunteered at this highly significant event. Their responsibility was to meet and guide guests and serve refreshments. Year 10 student Milica Pančić made a particularly good impression for which she received a referral from the Royal Voluntary Service.

We would like to congratulate Marija Matejić once again. Also, we are very proud of the other students whose presence was well noted at this extraordinary event.
