I am writing this from a sense of personal obligation and need to present to you my own view of the school that my child attended. Faced with my child’s daily school-related obligations and familiar with the big tasks that the school system sets before him, as well as having followed his consistent diligence and hard work, I wrote a few sentences about all of you who were a part of his school days.

Principal Svetlana, the principal with no nickname and no caricature, a person of authority and easy-going friendliness, parentally responsible for her students, and welcoming to their parents themselves, is well worthy of attention and praise. 

The collective selected by this responsible lady comprises people who fully supported and selflessly helped my son from day one to the very end of his time at Savremena.

The ability to make your subjects interesting and accessible, possessed by each and every one of you, is, in my opinion, the reflection of your expertise and your wide-ranging general knowledge. These are the very qualities that this school develops in its students, teaching them to approach global concepts analytically, insisting that they feel free to present their own opinions and that they adopt the hard facts with an interest in their practical use. 

The students at your/our school know that their every effort, diligence and dedication will be appreciated; from all of you, they expect and receive strict and just evaluation, and gain the experience that any mistake can be corrected. 

Savremena provides the freedom of thought to its students, participates in their coming of age, adjusting its criteria, making each subject an obligation that is free of any sense of undue pressure.

The thing that makes you all stand out, from my perspective as a parent, is your dedication to teaching our children, your students, the somewhat forgotten virtues of the future intellectual elite: personal responsibility, diligence, dedication to one’s work and obligations, honesty, altruism and cosmopolitanism.

The pedagogic work with our children than takes place in your class is a joy for the students, and a pleasure for us, the parents. The institution you work at is a real example of capable and successful educators and this is why I am writing this with pleasure, wholeheartedly recommending it to all future students and their parents. I think that my recommendation carries some weight, as Aleksandar is finishing his fourth year at Savremena and I think that the previous four years have been sufficient in order for me to gain a correct, conclusive impression about all of you.

I owe each of you who cooperated and continually developed my son’s cognitive, motivational and emotional abilities (I am not mentioning anyone by name for the simple reason that I would not like to omit anyone) my profound gratitude.
