International School Savremena wishes to provide its students with various extracurricular activities, but also with the opportunity to express their knowledge and compete with their peers from around the world, believing that participating in various competitions can help its students in their future education, as well as in their time management skills, giving them a sense of true responsibility.
On Saturday, 24 February, the students of International School Savremena came to their school, which was one of the venues of the competition to put their knowledge of English to the test. Although it has become a tradition for Savremena’s students to participate in HIPPO English without borders competition, International School Savremena takes pride in the fact that this year, as many as 55 of its students took part in this international competition
Next stop: the semi-finals
Now, Savremena’s students are anticipating the results of the preliminary round, which are going to be to be released on Monday, 5 March. After the preliminary round, Savremena’s students can look forward to the semi-finals held in March, and ultimately the finals of the competition which will be held in Lido di Jesolo in Italy in May 2018, when they will have the opportunity to compete with their peers from other European countries, such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia and many more. The competition is organised by the HIPPO association within Pearson International Qualifications and it represents an excellent opportunity for all students to show their competence and knowledge.
