Savremena International School’s women’s volleyball team comprising Tamara Polić, Natalija Bulatović, Lea Denić, Anđela Adžić, Miona Tofilovski, Ana Jeremić, Ana Vujović, Ivana Todorović, Natalija Stanković and Tijana Vučetić, won the third place in the municipal competition on Friday, 4 November!

A battle full of suspense

Regardless of the strong competition from the Third Belgrade Gymnasium and the Fourteenth Belgrade Gymnasium, the Technical High School for Architecture, and the Technical GSP High School, Savremena’s team succeeded in securing its place on the winners podium.

Savremena International School’s women’s volleyball team won the third place in the municipal competition

After a 2:0 win over the Technical High School for Architecture, Savremena’s team made it to the semifinals, where they confronted the team from the Third Belgrade Gymnasium in a match full of ups and downs. The opponent had more experience and luck in the crucial moments of the game and secured the victory.

A promising team

Due to their great team spirit, coordination and a desire to win, our students, coached and led by their PE teacher Stefan Radojičić, managed to win an excellent third place in the municipality of Vračar.

With all the devotion and dedication, practice and hard work, the real strength of this wonderful team is yet to be seen in the forthcoming competitions. We are certain that even greater success lies in store for our Savremena women’s team and we congratulate them on their wins so far.
